It was announced yesterday that tens of thousands of Twitter usernames and passwords were leaked and posted publicly on the internet. Twitter has launched an investigation into the  security  breach. "We are currently looking into the situation," explained Twitter spokesman Robert Weeks. "In the meantime, we have pushed out password resets to accounts that may have been affected." A number of the leaked passwords belong to spam accounts, and it appears some of the accounts may be duplicates.
